Tips

Check with your water company about the softness of your water supply.  You may be using unnecessary salt in your dishwasher and could take advantage of oxygen balls in your washing machine instead of detergent and fabric softener.

Shop in Aldi [and lesser extent Lidl] and save a fortune + get better quality, so you can get more tunes to play.

Before you do, drowning yourself under a bucket of iced water and other fund raising stunts, check out the charity to make sure they do actually use your fund-raising for research, helping etc instead of fancy offices, cars and salaries.

Use magnets as a [possible] form of pain relief.  No side effects, at least that I know of but no 'trips' either.

If you got sciatica ... walk bearfoot in cold floor...

Does that require some sort of transplant?

the only treatment for my sciatica is surgery to lumbar disc herniation.

It's a tough play on words for a non native English speaker....Bearfoot (ie Foot of a Bear) vs barefoot.

Indeed.  Also, people who live in glass houses etc.

I'd love to know the last time anyone picked me up on a spelling mitsake.

No, they have better things to do with their time.

They really don't you know. Shame this place has become so full of miserablists that you can't even allude to a humourous image without someone getting arsey. Bear feet, like when they show Fozzy Bear dancing, never gets old... Perhaps you should ask yourself why you don't have better things to do with your time?

I shouldn't worry about it, it was just a harmless little joke but people round here don't have the faintest idea what that means any more. Tragic really.

If you're walking down the road and need to break wind, hold it in until a noisy car passes by. That way you're less likely to be heard.

Just think of it as doing an impression of an MP3 algorithm.

Another one on the same topic

Another one on the same topic, never fart on a chair with a bare wooden seat. Not only does it hurt, they can hear you about 200 miles away, particularly if the chair is somewhere with a lively acoustic to start with, such as, ahem, a church hall during a funeral.

MOTORISTS. Always have a hot pie in your hands in heavy traffic. Each time the traffic grinds to a halt, just reach for the pie. The instant you place it to your lips the traffic begins to move. This works especially well with the molten lava apple turnovers from KFC.
