Well, you know the two solutions ...

1) Order your goods from the USA.

2) Move to the USA.

Otherwise - unless you have an effective plan to deal with the problem - what's the point in whingeing about it?

iPad Mini 3 • iPhone 6 • B&W P3 • Mac Mini • Apple TV3 • Quad Vena • Pro-ject Tuner Box S • Audio-Note AX-Two

I know what you mean  - to be honest this wouldn't have meant much to me until about 16 years ago when I lived and worked in the States for a while, met and married an American girl and came home to live in the UK. We get across every couple of years and I've spent a good amount of time planning what to buy when we're in the US and have 'saved' a faIr amount of money!

U;timately it seems to be down to our taxes (vat) and import/export duties...

Samsung 55Inch TV, Marantz SR 7009 Receiver, Panasonic 460 Blu Ray player, Monitor Audio Apex speakers, Monitor Audio GXW15 sub, Sky HD, Virgin Media 200MB BB, Sony Xperia Z3 phone + Z2 Tablet.

I think the price comparison

I think the price comparison was done before taxes and duty was added. The news comes as no surprise,  we have been ripped off for years.
