Well, you know the two solutions ...

1) Order your goods from the USA.

2) Move to the USA.

Otherwise - unless you have an effective plan to deal with the problem - what's the point in whingeing about it?

iPad Mini 3 (128GB) • Bowers & Wilkins P3 • Mac Mini • AirPort Extreme 802.11n • AirPlay • iTunes • Marantz M-CR603  • Rega R3

I know what you mean  - to be honest this wouldn't have meant much to me until about 16 years ago when I lived and worked in the States for a while, met and married an American girl and came home to live in the UK. We get across every couple of years and I've spent a good amount of time planning what to buy when we're in the US and have 'saved' a faIr amount of money!

U;timately it seems to be down to our taxes (vat) and import/export duties...

Samsung 55Inch TV, Marantz SR 7009 Receiver, Panasonic 460 Blu Ray player, Monitor Audio Radius R270 fronts, Apex A40 centre, Virgin Tivo box, Sony Xperia Z3 phone + Z2 Tablet.

I think the price comparison

I think the price comparison was done before taxes and duty was added. The news comes as no surprise,  we have been ripped off for years.
