So relieved.... (Phew!)

Had a health scare over the past couple of weeks. Went to see the GP and they found a crackly lung, and went for a chest X-Ray last Monday. Phoned the surgery up this afternoon and the receptionist said the results were normal, and the GP doesen't need to see me.
The past week I've had countless sleepless nights, worried as a pig, despite feeling okay.
My lifestyle has to change: I'm not a heavy smoker (around 10 per day) and rarely drink alcohol, and my diet is better than average. But now considering going vegetarian, as most meat taste 'orrible unless it's laden with spices.
As Dylan once sang: Times they are a changin.

If the shoes don't fit, change the horse.

Surely just giving up the fags would make more sense? Might make the food taste better as well.

As they say, 90% of what you worry about never happens. Sleep tight.

Yup - top of the list. Already got the patches...

Glad to hear you're well  PP. My own philosophy is that it's often the things that you never see coming which have the biggest impact on your life.

"Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday."
