No one will know how your feeling as we all deal with things in different ways. But you have my deepest sympathy...I was made redundant 13 months ago that's never happened to me before and as for you loss keep talking and seek help..we are all here for you if you need to vent your emotions...and life gets back on track you will adapt to what has happened.

I suffered in a very similar way to that described by Major F above, and I found coming on here was a surprising help.....though it's no substitute for the advice given in this thread.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I agree with marhetti that you should talk to someone whether it be friends, family or whoever.
I hope you stick around on the forum too. A bit of distraction might even help to keep your mind off things a little bit.

Fully agree. The only possible way to deal with life sometimes is to be determined to never give in and never give up, no matter how hard it gets. Just stare up at the sky one day and yell at the Big Man, "you can bowl them as curved as you like, as fast as you like, and for as long as you like, but you can take it as read that there's never gonna be a time when I won't be batting them right back at you, so give me all you got!". Feels good.
Thanks for your kind words everyone. Don't really need to speak to anyone for support. Just need to focus on my two priorities: CFA and weight loss.

Walk whilst studying. I'm not trying to be flippant, I did this when studying for a Masters a few years ago. There was quite a lot of audio material available so I walked whilst listening. Purely on that basis, I lost over a stone in 3 months
Sorry to hear all your bad news etc, like others have said, sometimes a forum can be a good way to off load stuff.
