RE: The Adventure Continues

Every single one of my CD's and DVD's are still in mint condition without so much as a finger print on them.

Why do people even touch the flat sides of a CD?

PICK THEM UP BY THE EDGE PEOPLE! It's not difficult.

Hi-Fi - Yamaha RX-V667 > AVI DM5 > AVI subwoofer

Head-Fi - Epiphany Acoustics EHP-O2Di > Sennheisser HD700

Portable - Sony NWZ-A847 > Westone UM3x

Try doing it with arthritic fingers/hands then it isn't quite as easy (or indeed painless) as you may think Smile

RE: The Adventure Continues

Just watching the Blu-Ray now, the picture is amazing and although the sound is in stereo it is really good.  I was say this is a must buy for anyone slightly interested and for those who aren't.

On Blu-Ray it is rather striking and a good demo disc to show off your system.

Never had to clean a CD or a DVD (or Blu-ray) yet.

Just exercise a tiny bit of care in handling them, when loading / unloading, and stick 'em straight back in the case after play.

drives me mad when people can't handle a DVD or cd without touching the bottom bit.....and somebody who will go unnamed in my house that keeps putting the disk they were using in the box of the next one they use.......aghhhhh

however I do keep my CDs/DVDs/blurays in alphabetical order so I'm probably a bit annoying myself

That's the original series. The item you've bought and are watching is the new, second series, made last year (surely you'll have noticed *slight* differences?!). According to Wikipedia, "the sequel received a premiere on the Kix (UK and Ireland) channel in the United Kingdom on November 9th 2013 before a daily airing due to start on November 11th 2013."

I thought PP meant the original, apologies if you didn't.  Yep, the second series was on Sky recently on the Kix channel.   I didn't watch it on it though because there were big logos on that channel and I didn't want image retention on my plasma.

Yep, I have sadly noticed all the differences but I am enjoying the Blu-Ray.
