Thanks to Guardian.co.uk's smug, arrogant, smart-a***, pompous, egotistical and lazy toss-pot of a film reviewer, Xan Brooks - "Xan"?? Geez, even his name-abbreviation is annoying!!! - I now know all hitherto underwraps details of The Dark Knight Rises plot  Angry

Hell, there's now no need to see the film, all you need do is read this pillock's 'review' doh!

What a weapons'-grade ****!

Serves you right for reading the Guardian I guess, but I do follow their Technology & Science contributions.  You could always have a peek here: http://entertainment.time.com/2012/07/16/times-review-of-the-dark-knight-rises-to-the-depths-to-the-heights/?iid=sl-category-mostpop2

I'm waiting for release on disk so that I can watch without all the oiks eating popcorn around me!

I've just read the Times review - sounds like the dialogue audio quality is not good - My local Odeon is likely to make matters much worse Angry

Will wait for blu-ray and bump up the centre speaker level.

I read it, I didn't think it gave that much away, Bane is in it, he mumbles worse than Batman does ("Impoffububble!" I wet myself at that point), and a few other bits that had already been mentioned, I didn't think it spoiled it at all, I've still got no more idea of what's in the film that I hadn't already got from the trailers.

RE: Warning! Don't read The Guardian's TDKR review!!!!!

I've read loads of reviews, and read (proper and comic) books in preparation, and will be seeing it at least once on Friday. Spoilers don't bother me much. Knowing spoilers cannot turn a good film into a bad one, just a mildly less surprising one.

EDIT - jsut read it. It doesn't reveal any more than many other reviews I've seen. Indeed, some will have known all that without seeing a review, but that's just the geeks.

EDIT - and there is much more you probably don't already know...

EDIT - Blimey, 6th, don't go anywhere near the Time review.

At least Time had the grace to preface its review with, "Warning: mild spoilers throughout...", unlike the Grauniad and its hack
