The best nuanced Blu-ray soundtrack I was watching “Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl” last night, completely underwhelmed by the bombastic soundtrack that has received universal praise. I think I have just heard far too many BIG explosions and deep bass rumbles for it to be impressive any more. However when watching films such as No Country For Old Men and more recently True Blood I find myself hooked by the subtle and nuanced soundtracks. Especially the nice clean full bodied vocals and subtle atmospheric sounds that seem to come from outside the boundaries of the room that really make you feel you are "there"! So my question is...What is your favourite Blu-Ray soundtrack for atmosphere and ambience: My vote - No Country For Old Men.
