Been listening to PJ Harveys new album "Let England Shake" today. Its one of the most interesting albums Ive listened to in a long time. Sometimes you get an album like this that you dont either dislike or like but is just very captivating and great to listen to.  Its very rare nowadays to hear a record from an artist that really is just about England. There are alot of references about its political stance in the world, but also includes alot great lyrics about its countryside and history. "The Glourious Land" and "The Words that Maketh Murder" are tracks that are beginning to stand out.

Musically there is a much to offer. Trumpets,Synths and a varied amount of interesting vocals are just a few instruments and sounds to come together. PJ Harvey has still kept her Indie sound. This comes through on most tracks, notiably "In the Dark Places". Its also nice to hear another great well produced album. Recently Adele's 21 has been another great example.

The fact that its different is probably why I am trying to come to a conclusion. What does everyone else think?
