J.J. Abrams to direct next Star Wars film?
[had a big box of creme eggs as a Xmas present
Wrong, I tell you, just WRONG!
I was surprised too! First thing I checked was to see if they were in date!
That's not confirmation at all, the Guardian article is just referencing another gossip website! It'll be confirmed when Abrams and/or Lucasfilm/Disney say it's happening.
Now confirmed:

Does that mean I have just lost 3 creme eggs to Paul?

You'll be left with only 45!
I know not everyone will be happy with this news but I, for one, am. Being a fan of Fringe and the work he's done on Star Trek gives me hope that THE franchise is in good hands.......bring on the lens flare!
EDIT: can I have a creme egg please
Inspired by the news, I rewatched his Star Trek reboot last night - i'd forgotten what a great job he did with that. Think my subwoofer's still recovering
I'm sorry, but anyone who claims to love creme eggs, yet has eaten 2 out of a possible 50 in a month isn't deserving..... If they were mine, they'd have been done by new years.

I know.
Last year I became addicted to them and at the same sort of time put on a bit of weight, so I have been avoiding them up to now. I have eat 5 galaxy boxes of chocolate bars though since Xmas.
Sorry to bring people back down to earth (no pun intended), but "Lost" (started off well then just seemed to abuse viewers intelligence with making it up as they went along)? And "MI3" (admittedly that wasn't that bad - way better than "Lost", but nothing like as good as MI2, not that I'm suggesting that John Woo *would* be an obvious choice for director).
You seem to be fogetting / unaware of the award-winning Alias:
Golden Globe Awards
Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama Jennifer Garner (2002)
Saturn Awards
Best Network Television Series (2003)
Best Actress in a Television Series Jennifer Garner (2003)

Cinescape Genre Female Face of the Future Melissa George (2004)
Screen Actors Guild Awards

Those were nearly 10 years ago. Past glories me thinks.
You're right, Star Trek was rubbish and don't get me started on Super 8, what a load of old dross that was!
Do I actually need to point out I'm kidding?
Fringe finished like a week a go. Amazing TV.

I'd bet a pound (a whole pound mind you) that he doesn't.
make it three cream eggs and ill take that bet
You're on. I have got 48 of them!
