Guy Pearce in Prometheus sounds like Ridley Scott
I think that Guy Pearce as Peter Weyland from the movie Prometheus sounds very much like Ridley Scott.

I've just listened to Ridley Scott on youtube and he doesn't sound as posh as he does in my head. Perhaps my memory cell fused him with John Hurt! Anyway, glad you liked the clip. Really looking forward to the movie.

Wyngarde was a major TV star in the late '60s/early '70s - Department S and Jason King - but after some, umm, "mis-understandings" in a few public loos he became PNG, then popped up memorably/weirdly as General Klytus in Flash Gordon:
New Prometheus trailer online. Just watched it on Youtube a few times. Very exiting, if a little fast paced. I've started saving up for my Cinema ticket, hot dog and icecream (yes, yes, I know we're in a recession but if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well right? Might even buy a bag of Maltesers too). 
Alarmingly, he sounds more like Peter Wyngarde/Jason King. (Not much trace of Scott's Geordie lilt or overuse of the word "right" in Pearce's Weyland speech, right?)
