Films that are so bad, they're good
After looking at the "Worst Film" thread, i thought I'd start one with films that are so bad, they're good.
My vote, and I genuinely love this film, is for "Psychomania" Fantastic British horror, which provides far more laughs than scares. Brilliant soundtrack by John Cameron too.
A friend of mine has recommended "The Room", which is supposed to be brilliantly awful (awfully brilliant), but I've yet to pluck up the courage to watch it.
little miss sunshine:rofl:
But that's a *great* film, nothing bad about it!
I vote for The Hunchback Hairball of L.A.
Atomic Twister. Brilliant, if only for brightening the otherwise boring afternoon in work which was spent predicting what was about to happen in the next scene of the movie, and being right 99% of the time.
It's a movie about a Twister or two hitting a nuclear power plant. Possibly written by a 5 year-old.
As it says on Wikipedia:
That's overly kind.
Star Crash (purchased after someone nominated it as the worst film of all time in the other thread

Entirely agree.
Any tacky Spaghetti Western. I love the out of synch lip movement/sound.
There was one, can't recall the title, starred Lee Van Cleef (I think), it was meant to be 1850 something and they were resting their horses in the scrubland. In the corner of the screen, very faintly, I noticed a very modern 'high speed' train whizzing past. Priceless.
Isn't there a film about a tyre?
Great thread!
Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus,
Swamp Shark
Pretty much any of the giant mutant animal films on the SyFy channel
I watched an old British horror the other day called 'The Vault Of Horror', with Tom Baker, Terry-Thomas, & Curt Jurgens among others. 5 short stories of men all telling tales of visions of their demise.
It was pretty bad, but compelling with it.

Still my vote goes to Avatar.

Rubber. I thought it was hilarious, but many thought it was a one trick pony that gets boring after 15 minutes.
'Horrible Bosses'. A terrible yarn but worth it for Jennifer Aniston's nympho dentist and the 'hand job' guy...

I think I spotted your admiration for this in the other thread, which gave me the inspiration for this one.
I just checked out some reviews of Starcrash, and it looks perfect for so bad it's good, I might well have to buy it too.
I highly recommend Psychomania. Beryl Reid, George Sanderson, Nicky Henderson, Dot Cotton (from Eastenders) and Bill Pertwee, you can't go wrong.

I bought it, I watched it, I fell asleep during it, and then I sold it.
It was trying a little too hard to be clever for me, and would definitely fit into the so bad, it's good category, but isn't that what the director was trying for? I'm still confused.
