I'm going to labour this point NFW Original

I guess you had to be there.  Sounds like the soundtrack to my nightmares unfortunately, it genuinely creeps me out.  Tori however, is delightful as always.

Black Magic Woman - Santana.  Always amazed by how many people think it actually is one of his.

Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin. Cover version of You Need loving by The Small Faces. Go listen!

Sloe Gim- Joe Bonamassa. Launched him into super stardom. Well picked Kevin Shirley.

This morning heard Neil Diamonds 'I'm a believer' by a group called Smash Mouth. Never heard of the group before but it is a pretty tasty cover version.

Joe Cocker - Never Tear Us Apart

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SshhK2dmG2I

The original song was by INXS and it's recently been covered by Paloma Faith in the John Lewis advert but Joe Cockers version is the best IMO.

I'm with you BBB.shame on you

I think The Dillinger Escape Plan w/ Mike Patton's version of 'Come To Daddy' is better than the Aphex Twin original.

"Johnny Was" by Stiff Little Fingers, the version from the live album "Hanx", I love Bob Marley, but this beats his original hands down.

I prefered the original songs to all of these covers. Fiona Apple's version of Across the Universe has a really cool video though.

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity

From one of the greatest albums of all time 'Travelling Without Moving'. Highly recommended.

You gotta love his dance moves from 1.22 - 1.38. Cool

Korn - Word Up

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q-k-uN73Gk

The original version was a cheesy pop song by Cameo but the cover versions by Gun and Korn were proper rock songs which were much better. Mel B also did a rubbish cover version of it too but that one was a bit of a joke.
