Watched it last night, soooo disappointed. Car chase seemed to have been edited by a 7 year old. Script written by someone even younger.

Proof positive that all the explosions and gunfire in the world can't make a good action movie if the story is wafer thin.

Bruce, Bruce, Bruce....... What were you thinking? Definitely McClain's nadir..... Crying

What worse than the last one? How is that possible? Willis has already signed up for number 6...

Very much so.

I enjoyed 4.0. Obviously not on a par with the first three, but not terrible either.

Haven't seen it, but my first educated guess would be that it's awful. My second educated guess would be worse than awful.

Why are people surprised by the lack of quality of these films?

Willis, Schwarzenegger, and Stone are just taking the p*ss out of you all. Everyone who pays money to watch these films is a crime victim IMHO.

Sorry, but that's how I feel. Rant over.

Is the car chase worse than the one in Taken 2?

I've heard that in america "a good day to die hard" has a Restrictive certificate but the uk has chopped the film up to give it a 12 certificate.

No, evidentally it's the studio that decided to cut it for the UK market, rather than anything the BBFC has done. Stupid idea either way.

Nope!

Me and my wife were laughing out loud as Liam Neeson's daughter (who couldn't drive) managed to navigate the car around Istanbul's narrow streets and alleyways, chased by seemingly the entire male population of Albania, and hardly scratched the car.

Complete and utter rubbish but amusing rubbish.

I thought it was alright.  Die Hard gets put on a pedastal a bit, but the reality is there was only really one great Die Hard, one pretty good Die Hard and now three ok/meh Die Hards.
