The most funny unitentional film I have ever witnessed is Stir of Echos....my friends and I rented that film when it came out, and have watched it many times and laughed ever since.

Mac and Me?? though it's terrible I love it!!!

The worst one in a long while is Tropic Thunder......didn't get it, love most of those actors and it was pure rubbish

I want to see that just for the hell of it....

Seen Scorpion King recently, that was pretty awful. Not as awful as Ghost Rider, but almost.

The only film I've turned off half way through is The Spirit. I just couldn't comprehend how bad it was, not even in a funny way either.

Yeah. After 'Sin City' I was expecting more...... Scarlett Johannsen made it moderately worth watching though.Stick out tongue

'The Phantom' (Think that's what it was called, Billy Zane as a masked hero in the African jungle IIRC). Only film I've fallen asleep watching at the cinema..... My mate did too. Our other halves kept nudging us to stop us snoring apparently.Sleep

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

I'm a great fan of Tarantino and a friend of mine recommended a new film called "EDITEDslapped" as a fine example of the genre, although not made by The Master himself.

I fired it up and sat transfixed for the duration.
No discernable plot, cardboard acting and laughable dialogue.
The whole film seems to be simply a vehicle to have several hot, scantily dressed girls cavorting around in the desert killing people.

Half the film seems to be slow motion sequences of them almost spilling out of their clothes while dispatching several unfortunate victims to their doom in a multitude of interesting and gory ways.

I can't really make up my mind if it's the worst or indeed best film I've ever seen.
It could be a classic yet it could easily fall into the StarCrash catagory.

I intend to watch it five or six more times over the weekend before I can be absolutely sure.

'The Marine' with John Cena (WWE).
On the brightside - it made me appreciate just how talented I am!

Respect to Sandra Bullock for turning up in person to collect her worst actress award for All About Steve

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

You obviously only look to mainstream entertainment.

As a literary critic I know that there's no commercial film that can compare to some of the arty modernist stuff from the post-war period.

(Please don't force me to remember titles. They're all safely stored away deep down in the most Freudian dungeons of my mind, and I don't want to revive old nightmares.)

So much said, some 1980/90's Scandinavian attempts at making Hollywood style action thrillers might qualify for the Premier League.

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

Eragon is probably a really bad film. I can't really say for sure because I've never been able to sit through the whole thing without falling asleep. It's certainly the most soporific film I've encountered.

That said though, I tend to do rather well at avoiding bad films... although I must admit I quite like some of the films listed here on people's "worst" lists, so what do I know?ÿ

ÿ

Also, I know this is an old post, but:

TheLastManWithBetamax:
Star Wars because

...

10. IT IS RESPONISBLE FOR HUNDREDS OF EVEN WORSE SPACE MOVIES!

ÿ

I can't help but bring you up on your logic for this one... Star Wars is the worst film ever made because it inspired hundreds of worse films? Er...

Also, regardless of what you think about Star Wars as a film (or George Lucas as a director, for that matter), you can't deny the massive influence they've had on all reaches of cinema. ILM, Pixar, THX etcÿÿall stem directly from Star Wars.
