Variety is the spice of life.
Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald are great, they've done some wonderful songs. I also listen to a lot of classical music, hard trance, classic rock and cheesy 80's pop music.
Have a look through the rest of this thread. I post a different song every day from lots of different genres.
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - Beggin'

I'm not keen on Louis Armstrong's vocalisation, although I don't mind "What a wonderful world"..
I do listen to lots of stuff - same sort of genres as your good self I see! - from classical to, as the wife calls it, 'headache music', often accompanied by cries of, "what the hell is that c**p??"
That?, I reply, as any self respecting music lover should know, is an album entitled "Brain Salad Surgery" (duck in case of injury from rolling pin) As for "System Of A Down" Albums - I have to wait until she goes shopping!! ![]()
Right now I'm listening to the Soundtrack to "A Clockwork Orange" - still does it for me!!

I'm with your wife on that one.
But that's what's great about music. There's no right or wrong, it's just whatever stirs the individuals soul and we all have different tastes.

Jacques Loussier - Play Bach
Natalie Merchant - Ophelia
Fila Brazillia....."Luck be a Weirdo Tonight".
Prodigy..."Fat of the Land"
