Jan Hibma:
Ladri di Biciclette
La Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain
Cidade de Deus
Ran
Irr‚versible
A Bout De Souffle
Cet Obscur Objet de Desir

There, I did it, I cheated, but I just couldn't make up a list of five films so I just posted a list of my five all time favourite films.

Loving the use of the original titles. I cannot believe no one has mentioned, 37ø2 le matin. One of the all time great performances, funny, sad and plenty of flesh (which it has become apparent it important to some!).

Not a big one for "World Cinema" but I did really enjoy The Ring and The Eye, both of which were unfortunately remade inferiorly by the Hollywood machine.

No one makes a thriller/horror movie like the Japanese

Other films likely to make it in depending on my mood; A Better Tomorrow, Bullet in the Head, Pan's Labyrinth, Devil's Backbone, Amelie, Oldboy, Kung-Fu Hustle, Wheels-on-Meals, Ong Bak, City of God, Spirited Away, Infernal Affairs, Hidden.
