Bought some new CD's yesterday, and thwy weren't all that bad (coming up for the "understatement of the month" award) 1: James Blunt - Chasing Time - the bedlam sessions (1 Live DVD and 1 Live CD) 2: The Kooks: Inside In the Inside Out 3: Steely Dan: The definitive Collection Very nice

Re: Some new CD's

I agree on Blunt Thaiman, but I'm still so much amazed at what my Cambridge cdp does to my dad's Marantz/IQ5's, that I keep feeding it all kinds of stuff. I walked into that store (with my girlfriend, must admit), and figured the Live session would sound great (plus great for having the DVD), so I bought it. Steely Dan sounds super-fab. I finally bought a cd that even my father would like. Boy, is he in for a surprise when comes back from his vacation next week!

If you like Steely Dan, you've got to check out Donald Fagen's The Nightfly. Was a staple of Hi-fi shops in the 80's and rightly so.
