I landed a copy of the original "Tommy" by The Who recently; it's not arrived yet, but it's the fatbox double CD version. Plans are afoot in the record_spot purpose built listening room (aka purpose built as "the living room" originally) to AB it with the apparently superb SACD version of the same.
Anybody else a fan of original CD releases against these newfangled remastered thingys?!
More a fan of the vinyl version I have with a big thick 'libretto' thingie (which I got in a box of 200 or so discs from a vinyl chucker outer for 50 quid the lot)
Better to look at than listen to though
