Great film

Hey,

I've just watched 'The Fall' on Blu Ray and was surprised at how good it is.

In a nutshell, it's a film about a little girl who is in hospital with a broken arm who becomes friends with a man, another patient. The man tells her stories of a fantasy world. I won't say anymore about the plot, i'll just say it reminded me a little of 'Pan's labyrinth' in that I went in to it expecting a kids film, but instead finding a film with a dark theme running through it.

It's a really beautiful film to look at. The fantasy world scenes are all sprawling shots of desert landscapes and vivid colours that pop out of the screen on Blu Ray. But, the best part of the film is the actress that plays the little girl. She's easily the most charming and endearing child actor that i've come across. It's like she isn't acting, she's so unaffected.
