Saw the trailer the other day, apart from the sound, is the film decent?

Yes its a stunning demo disc,I want to take it to work, but i cant as its an 18 cert film damm lol.Its from the same team as crank and crank 2,so if you liked them you will love this. Its not for everyone. If you like action and a "leave your brain at the door" kind-of film then go for it(or rent it)

Re: Gamer on blu-ray

Watched Gamer last night. Didn't enjoy it much. Too disjointed. Nice idea ruined by sloppy editing and poor directing.

Crank & Crank 2 are much better. They may be stupid, but they don't take themselves too seriously (especially Crank 2)

Re: Gamer on blu-ray

Whats drive me up the wall is that in the US they get the full 7.1 version and we get the low quality 5.1 audio version....

Anybody know if there is a region free 7.1 version available?

 Thanks

Unfortunately MovieTyme shows the US version to be region coded - see here. So you'd need a multi-region Blu-Ray player.
