Batman Begins (I think that's the title - the first Nolan one) and The Dark Knight - very good.
Reign Over Me - excellent
Deja Vu - enjoyable

Um....none I think. Unless A Matter of Loaf And Death counts.

Only Die Hard 4.0.  Less dumb and more good that I thought.  But only by a small margin.

Now, in the post-Christmas lull I have The Wire (seasons 1 - 4), Sopranos (season 6.1 and 6.2) and The West Wing (all of it) to get through - good DVD haul!

Deja Vu = almost all the BBC/ITV film schedule for the period

Mamma Mia- did the ironing whilst the wife was in double heaven.

Kingdom of Heaven- pretty poor.

So in short -not overly impressed.

I did think that this would be the case, certainly from an Oscar eligibility point of view.
