Depeche Mode are one of the few bands that has its back catalogue released on SACD. I'm thinking about buying them all but was wondering if anyone has any experience of them. How do they compare to the original CDs?

Cheers!

i have all of them. What i found was that when they released the albums they did not mention anything about it being a SACD. So i found out by error. when it took longer to load than expected.

Worth it? if you have a SACD player and like DM then yes.

What I was wondering about was whether the SACDs sounded signifcantly better than the CDs since I have them all already. Think I might get Ultra (my favourite DM album) and see for myself.

have a very close look at the disc and see if there is not an SACD logo on it. Or just put them in the SACD player as

that i bought as a CD for £6 years ago is actually a CD/SACD.

Wonder if there's a deal going on that one as I picked it up for £7 in the record shop on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh a couple of months back?
