Just a quick note regarding the excellent service I received from Graham, Lisa & Aaron at Superfi in Leeds. I had a problem with my Onkyo receiver that required it to be sent to Onkyo's UK repair franchise. The abridged version of events involves the wrong receiver being delivered to me, my receiver taking a prolonged New Year break in Ireland & being badly damaged in transit. A sorry tale that spread over close to four months & had I had the transit damage repaired would have dragged on for another 2 months. Fortunately, after I stamped by feet with Onkyo's repairer, Superfi steped up to the plate & replaced my two year old amp with a shiny new 608 requiring only a modest contribution from myself.
While it took a while, at the end of the day Superfi did what was necessary to get my toys back in the pram. They probably didn't need to & may not have seen any tangible reward for doing the right thing. Hopefully this note together with the fact that I have just spent a considerable amount with them upgrading my Hifi has provided just reward.
