Sevenoaks in Lincoln has closed. Is this a one off or are other branches closing?

RE: Sevenoaks

I would suspect that they found the current trading conditions too tough to carry on.

Sevenoaks is a franchise business, so the success or failure of each individual Sevenoaks branch is down to the business owner running each shop - I doubt Sevenoaks HQ are keen to bank roll any of their franchisees who find themselves in difficulty.

There has been some merging with Audio T.  Locally, I've seen the Plymouth-based Sevonoaks branch has been consolidated into Exeter.

It's tough out there!

RE: Sevenoaks

They closed a couple of months ago. The Lincoln branch was a franchise, and from what I've heard, there may be a few more going, as a lot of the 10 year franchisee contracts initially signed are coming to an end around now.
