Quick story, week ago last Friday happened to be in Reading (collecting the mother in law) and phoned ahead to RS to look at the Yamaha 430, saw it, they didn't have a new model, this one was silver, ho hum, dither dither, decide not to buy.

Exit store.

Re-enter store a few minutes later, start again, don't want the Denon 37 DAB, I see the Cambridge One on for £299.00, hmm, bit much, they do me a deal and I walk out the store at £265.00 lighter and a 5 year warranty for the One that I had bought.

Few days later I noticed in the current WHF that RS have the same on at £249.00 in their double page spread............so I decided to phone the store and see what could be done

The upshot was that they met the price, gave me a discount as before, 5 yr warranty as well, £35.00 back in the bank account and all the paper work tidied up, and received by me the following day

Thanks to Dan for the initial sale and to Nick who sorted out the refund, not a question or a cross word, just OK as if it's in WHF then that's cool. (Thanks RS for advertising in WHF)

Thanks guys.

That's great news, and I doff my cap to you, honestly I wouldn't have the nerve to try anything like that, come to that it probably wouldn't have occurred to me to try it... until now that is! Hmm
