Just thought I would mention the staff at RS Nottingham.I ordered two sets of Tannoy V4's which were price beaten without fuss as was the V Centre.
They arrived last Thursday but there was a bit of a mix-up;the centre speaker was a special order and I had to pay for it when collecting the floorstanders.
I was unhappy that no-one had informed me but was offered an unopened Cambridge Audio centre to use until the ordered one arrived.I asked for some gesture of goodwill,no problem I was told.
Richer gave me 5m speaker cable @ £5m,plus six packs of Cambridge Audio banana plugs,a total of £55 extras gratis and they gave me my car parking charges back.I haven't always been a great fan and used Superfi for all my previous kit.I tried them for the same set but they were £80 more expensive and as they have no price promise my custom was taken elsewhere.I'm glad I did and wish to thank all staff at RS Nott'm for their help and willingness to ensure a happy customer left the store.Well done to you all.
Best wishes,
Craig,
Nottingham.

Well Richer might well have bought your loyalty but I'll bet they didn't make much out of that. I know an ex manager of Superfi and they abandoned their price beat policy for precisely those reasons. Price beat, then free cable and plugs, then car parking charges refunded. A wonder you didn't want them to buy you a tank of petrol as well. And did Richer demonstrate them or was that left to some other mugs? That sort of business is best left to Richer.

Perhaps you ought to go back to bed and try and get out the right side....
