Just purchased my Freesat pvr from RS last Thursday, excellent service from knowledgable and very friendly staff. I also got a £10 discount from the ad in WHFSV and 2 mugs. Highly recommended if your in the area.

Just don't expect good service at the weekend. Sooooooo busy! Tried to ring on a Saturday to see if an order had arrived and no one would pick up the phone. But yes they are helpful when you can get hold of them.
Can't say I'm surprised at that, I walked in there ten minutes before closing time on a Saturday and it was pretty busy in there then. They were very helpful though, so much so I went in looking for the Pro-ject USB phono stage and ended up walking out with a Sonos BU150 bundle (AND the phono stage!).
There was also at least two seperate groups in there wanting to buy TVs at that time, so all the staff were pretty busy.
Can't say they rang me afterwards but if I gave them my home number I'm never there during the day anyway, so I've no way of knowing.
Just to let you know, i had a phone call from RS this morning to check that i'm happy with my purchase and if i had had any problems. Excellent customer care, well done RS
