So, it's not exactly a shop, and it's nowhere near me either. However, I thought I'd share my positive experience of using them. For the benefit of anyone who doesn't know, the Play Trade sellers are independent retailers who use the play.com site as a marketplace - Amazon have the same thing.

There have been a few CDs that I've been on the lookout for over the years, mostly fairly obscure, old or deleted items. Having finally decided that I would never stumble across them at a record fair / second hand shop / car boot sale, I thought I'd have a look on the internet (which kind of seemed like cheating really, but anyway...). None of them were available direct through Amazon or Play, so I thought I'd take a punt on some Play Trade sellers. I must admit I was a bit dubious about this. However, having put in an order for a mixture of new and second hand CDs from as far afield as Australia, it's been all good.

How a company can sell me a new CD and airmail it from Oz for a fiver all in is quite beyond me though...

Re: Play Trade

I have used Play Trade and Amazon market place sellers extensively. I have had three  problems with the wrong product from Amazon, but they have all been satisfactorily resolved. They are often much cheaper than Play/Amazon.
