Firstly, not exactly a shop in the physical sense, tinternet.

I wish to pass on a whole hearted recommendation for David and his company.  Many e-mails were sent by me, requesting variousinfo / options, always a polite and knowledgable response received, absolutely no pressure on a sale.

Eventually I decided to get a couple of custom lengths of Black Rhodium Super Jazz mains cable custom made, one to replace my Chord Power chord to my TV and the other was a shorter lead with a silver plated extension block fitted, and a single socket tacima conditioner this was to replace my tacima mains block in my HIFI setup.

I asked if my products could be delivered today, as I have just finished nights so would be in all day, again no problem.

First impressions are very very good (not going to listen in depth as need sleep) will report back fully on that later when have had a good chance to listen and watch.  The cable is very very substantial and has been terminated (at my request) with MK Silver toughplugs.

The quality of the assembly is excellent, many years of experience have gone into making those, with heatshrink and ferrite rings fitted, makes a very tidy and professional job.

Overall very pleased so far, excellent person to do business with wholeheartedly recommend.

Re: Mains Cables R Us

Well, first impressions (had a few hours sleep, but its like XMAS).

HIFI - Fitted with new 6 way silver plated extension block / tacima plug in unit and wired with Black Rhodium Super Jazz + Silver plated MK toughplug : I cannot believe why I have not done this before!! My WHOLE system has been revitalised, vocals, piano and strings are almost at a "holographic" stage.  Extra bass weight too, but controlled, how this is possible with just the mains block replaced I dont know, but it just is!!!  Still running my amp off a seperate socket (bygone days of the Tacima mains block).  Will change that around after my redecorate and see how that sounds.

AV - Tv Chord Powerchord replaced with Blackrhodium Super Jazz, all I can say is someone has cleaned the inside of my display Smile, incredible clarity.

Only first impressions, but damn they are good Smile

Thanks David

Re: Mains Cables R Us

dave,

The six way extension is fantastic it has brought a newlife to my system.  Dont think the chord is the be all and end all, just try the Black rhodium super jazz cable utterly fantastic.

Give David an email and discuss your requirements, am not sure as to ebay my chords and go super jazz or upgrade the IEC either way the man knows what he is talking about very very impressed.

£45 per metre plus connections, fantastic cable 3mm silver coated copper, much better sound than the 1.5mm copper chord

Ill have a look, im looking at some new speakers at the min, cant post you a link as then every man and his dog will be on it, but ill let you know on that one.

Might have a look and order a custon cable to the silver plated mains blocks they do. Busy at mo as putting new bathroom in so costing me serious money at moment so going to have to spread upgrades over next couple of months..

Im hoping the Audiolab cd impresses me at the weekend so might pick one up, its all happening, chords will sell like hotcakes on E-bay lol

Re: Mains Cables R Us

David..

Ive ordered a tci constrictor block (silver internals), so when it comes and i find out how easy it is to replace the incoming cable, could you suggest a few different cables sold by the metre to rewire it in, may get upto 5-6 metres in length in the end.

Id say id like cores to be as big as possible and silver/silver coated?...cheers RD
