Hi everyone, this ones not really a shop as such..Its more a company that make custom av racks/hifi racks..out of a range of solid timbers . I had the problem where my centre speaker was quiet big (monitor audio gold gslcr) and the amp had quiet a bit of height to (onkyo 905). I wanted a reasonable width on the rack, the tv being a pioneer lx5090, i didnt want the sides of the tv over shooting the sides of the rack. Basically i searched high and low and scoured the internet to find a rack to accommodate my components..bottom line, i couldnt.

Someone mentioned hifiracks.co.uk on the forums here previously, so i thought ive nothing to loose, i may as well contact them. The company is run by a friendly chap called Bradley, who actually makes the racks himself. I emailed him my dimensions..which kept changing slightly!!  i was shown various designs i could choose from and in the end i did a design of my own. Then it was onto choosing the timber. In order to give me a truer representation, bradley must have sent me around 6 samples of various timbers until i was happy with what i had chosen.

With the spec agreed, 4 weeks later my rack landed. Solid walnut, with isolated shelves and built exactly to spec to house my kit. In a day and age where it can be a struggle sometimes dealing with organisations and individuals at the other end end of a phoneline or computer..ive got to say its decent folk like this that keep your faith in this type of dealing. Professional, patient, prompt and very very reasonably priced for a piece of custom made furniture..Thankyou Bradley at hifiracks..long may your excellent work continue.
