Yes I bought my Optimum International rack from them 9 years ago. I've also bought speaker cables from them. They are absolutely fine and have some cables which have 50% off RRP. I'd buy from them again and have no problems recommending them.

Yep, I bought my Jamo speakers from them. Average price, but prompt delivery. Like DistortedVision, no problems recommending them either.

Very impressive company - reason they've been around so long I suppose. I paid over the odds for my Sony 3400es but I must have been one of the first owners of this great amp in the UK. They get stock direct from Sony and at the time I could see no other deals anywhere. A week after it arrived, I saw "deals" for the same receiver at £100 cheaper. However, none of these dealers have actual stock so you are paying them up front as it were. Would I use again? Yes.

Good to hear you had a good experience.

I remember when I first went in there to buy my Optimum International rack and the owner said they had them in stock. I ended up carrying home on the bus. Man it was heavy I tell ya!

Hifi Confidential are a good, reliable company that I've spent a fair few thousands with over the past 10 years. I worked up in Victoria for 15 years and they were my local at lunchtimes and were invaluable for checking out new kit. Small shop but great staff, very knowledgable.

Can highly recommend this shop fantastic staff. My first purchase was a video recorder then when I upgrade to  dvd I went back to them and they price matched with a web site where I found the price cheaper. My last purchase was December 2007 when I purchase a panny TV which they delivered about 7pm because I wanted the TV before Christmas and that was the only convenient time for me to take delivery and I didn't have to pay for delivery. I'm now looking to buy another new TV and will certainly go back to HiFi Confidential.

I also can recommend these guys. Nothing has gone wrong (yet) so have't had a chance to test their returns/faults handling but buying experience was good. They seemed knowledgable and pleasant.

EDIT: Charged 15% restocking fee for returning interconnect cables. Appears to be common in UK but outrageous by American standards.

My experience was positive; good price, good range.  I've bought quite a bit from them. Helpful in the shop and over the phone.  Rapid dispatch of items that I ordered by phone.
