Great relationship

Its great having a good relationship with your dealer. 

Recently I bought a "white belt upgrade" for my P2, sound was "wowey" in a speeding up/slowing down way - not impressed.

Took TT down to my delaer, they checked it all out, adjusted tracking weight etc etc and replaced the belt with one of their dem ones, problem cured.

They then spoke to Rega who are sending a new white belt down to them to fit tomorrow and keeping hold of mine for testing/investigation.

All this and I did not even buy the white belt from them!!

So I bought a Naim Stageline N instead

Whilst I was there also had a lovely dem of some PMC DB1's, whilst trying to get to the bottom of the TT problems.

Mighty sound from just a small speaker, veruy clear and detailed, definately on the speaker dem shortlist now (DB1's / GB1's / A5's)

To top off a rather good dealer visit, NAIM audio were in setting up their new S400 speakers and got to listen to those babies (3K though so double my speaker budget - but ....................). Also had a lovely chat with the guys from NAIM.

That is the reason I use, and will continue to use my local dealer. Audio T in Portsmouth

I agree I've started to use my local dealer (hifi4less) in Wilmslow Cheshire, Dave & Tony. One shop where you can walk into for advise and not feel like there trying to sell you something, I went into the shop about 2 weeks ago asking about and wanting to but some speaker cable for my KEF's they advised me it might not make much difference to my KEF's, they gave me a of cut of wire and told me to try before I buy. Great service. I can not see many shops doing that. We should support our local shops before were stuck with the big stores with poor service. I feel like I've made a couple of new friends, great guys....

They have got a lot better in that particular Audio T.

I took a Cyrus AV Master in there that I had not bought from them and James had it sent of to Cyrus and got it repaired. He could of got them to charge me for it as it was not under warranty nor bought there but he did not. Very good of him to do this for me.

Also helped me out loads with some dems too.
