Frank Harvey Hi-Fi Excellence
Many thanks Nick - glad you're happy with our service and the product.
I would like to add my voice here to the excellent info and support I got from David the one and only time I put up a post on this forum. So much so, I went off to look them up. Imaging my consternation when i found out that they were in the midlands, I believe. (from London myself)
I do know that when I am ready to go ahead with an upgrade I am going to be calling them too. I normally just run over to my local Sevenoaks hifi store in Bromley and whilst the guys are freindly enough, I sometimes don't feel they are that passionate.
Just had a look at the Frank Harvey flickr photostream - excellent photographs!
another thumbs up from me too ![]()

Thank you soca. You're welcome anytime - just drop me a message or call to let me know you're on your way and I'll keep a room free if you need a demo.
Regards
David

Thank you Electroman. I'm still getting used to the camera, even though I've had it almost 2 years now! All the manual stuff isn't coming natural to me, but at least I get to practice at work!
There will be some more photos posted over the next few days with some new products (just waiting on the ATC integrated and pre-amplifier), and maybe some more added of existing products if I get enough time to. Rather than just the usual pics you see of most products, I'm trying to take some more obscure ones, close ups with detail, that sort of thing.
Gander:another thumbs up from me too
Thanks Matt. Looks like we could do with Neat speakers in store!!

More have been added Electroman - and more to come as soon as the rest of the ATC turns up!
Congratulations on your customer feedback. It is really nice to see a dealer committed to customer satisfaction which sadly is so rare here in the States. Your shop looks stunning, too, with its tremendous range of demo possibilities!
I wish you a continued success in business and participation in forums.
The roof looks very nice in real life !
I visited FH a few weeks ago, drove from Southampton, and had a great demo. Being female (yes, we do buy Hi-Fi as well !), I had a great demo (thanks to David), finding out that what I thought I had in mind would be suitable, turned out not to be after listenting to several choices from the great choice of offer.
I just wish you would open a branch on the South coast !
David has alot of patience and advise and was more than happy to talk outside of work hours including Sundays until I decided on what equipment to buy.
Just waiting for Santa to turn up hopefully Wednesday with my goodies!
Gill
Thank you batonwielder.
I still need to get more pics of the shop up, as I've been mainly concentrating on the equipment so far. I've taken a few more pics recently, but not had enough time to get into a photographic 'groove' as we've extremely busy for the last few months.
I was under the impression that the states were far better than the UK when it came to customer service? Why do you think this is? Maybe because the American market is so open with less restrictions on pricing mail ordering?
Thank you Gill, we get many compliments on the roof! Not ON the roof - you know what I mean....
And thanks for your 'kind words' ![]()
If the demo you had didn't show what sort of amplification the ATC's really need, then I don't know what would! The main track we used really showed up any lack in bass control on the amplifier's part, and also showed that even the excellent Nait 5i isn't good enough for the SCM11's. Cue the Nait XS. What a difference....
As for a store down South, why bother when they come up to see us?!! ![]()
Frank has thought about expanding before, but if we opened another store like ours with the same range and stockholding, it'd be extremely expensive!! Plus it's harder to watch over two stores - we'd rather concentrate on one and do it well. There's an unbelievable amount of work that goes into making our store as popular as it is (website and the store itself), and doubling that by adding another store would mean many more staff being needed, and twice the work. What we have works, and works extremely well, so we're quite happy to keep things as they are. We're well up on last year, and I was quite stunned to learn that we have almost matched our internet sales in store too, which is n mean feat!
Wat car is that on your avatar by the way? It best not be a Ferrari.......it looks like a bit like a Lamborghini, but the wheels look wrong and the front end looks wrong too....
Ferrari F40 ! Taken at Goodwood FOS a few years ago. Nearest I have to this is my Mini which is red !

It so refreshing to hear there are genuine retailers, and you're being recognised for it - too often there has been such negative input about poor delivery times etc etc. I have been guilty myself of whinging about less than good service. This is why I have two retailers, when needed, I go to without hesitation, hence my loyalty to them.
Keep the good work up.....![]()
