The bits and pieces that have come together to finally satisfy my needs have come from several different places but I have had excellent service from all of them. The speakers came from Superfi's website with next day delivery and excellent communication. My cables came from FutureShop online and, again, delivery was next day as promised and I was kept informed of despatch time etc. The Air-loc terminations have been done very well on the speaker cables and everything was packaged very well. The NAD amp came from Richer Sounds in Preston and I was only able to end up with it because of their exceptional desire to ensure that I was satisfied. They let me swap 3 different amplifiers until I ended up with the one that was right for me and never complained, sighed or huffed once. With customer service like that they deserve to do well. I've had the Rotel CD player for some time having purchased it 2nd hand from Steve's Hi-Fi about 6 months ago. Steve is superb. Very knowledgable and everything comes fully checked and guaranteed. Far less risky than Ebay and I'd certainly buy from him again in the future. Later on I should be able to report back on Audio Affair as well. My Dad has ordered a pair of Roth Oli2s for himself from them and is expecting them today...

mp

good stuff, and a good pat on the back for all concerned.

Should be no worries with Audio Affair, based on my recent experience, as well

Thats good to hear of good service.

The best service ive recieved recently was when I bought an old Technics tuner from Bethanys charity shop. I asked if I could plug it in to see if it powered up. It did. I said jokingly that I hope it makes a noise when I get it hooked up. I was told it came with a 3 month guarantee! All on a 20 year old tuner I only paid £2 for!

Obviously I wont take them up on their kind offer on the guarantee!

Audio Affair came up with the goods for Dad as well. Next day service as advertised and with full communication by email from start to finish.

Well that's my second stop to listen to the Roth's. Shame they don't do Marantz, though.
