Okay, granted, this shop is nowhere near me first off, being somewhere in deepest darket "down-southshire" (Hereford to be super precise) however, their service is second to none.

I noticed they had what is now my current main source - Denon's excellent DVD3930 universal player which I'd lusted after when it came out a few years back but at £1000 was out of my league - for sale in their Used section.  It was in near mint nick, only £150  and one quick phone call later, the purchase was done.  The guy I spoke to also volunteered some background info about the product and the history as they'd originally sold it in the first place.

Think this was the Easter weekend when I bought it, so having phoned on the Saturday afternoon, it wasn't going to be picked up till the Tuesday.  Lo and behold, next day it turned up at my door.  Hardly stopped playing it since.

Highly recommend the shop - nice website, nice guys, great service.

I'm a bit slow in adding to your post as I don't come to this part very often .

I will second what you have to say about English Audio as I have been dealing with them on and off for over 20 years . Adrian English is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with . In the last two and a half years I have completely updated my HI-Fi . This includes an Origin Live Calypso turntable , Audiolab 8000S and 8000P amps and ATC SCM11 speakers . They behaved exactly as a proper dealer should by setting up the equipment in their listening room and let me get on with it , offering advice when asked for and putting no pressure on me to buy .

The only thing I wish they could do is offer some of the less well known brands that are available as well as the usual suspects . However , as Hereford isn't the HiFi owning capital of Britain I guess they have to stock what they can sell .
