RE: SUPERFI-APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Well they did resolve your complaint, you got a refund minus £20. It's only your fault if you don't know your rights and let them do that.

Your right, I wasn't there to hear the conversation and can only make a judgement based on your postings on here, that's what I did.

Hey, what made you so angry?

I have read a series of posts by you this afternoon, boy someone must have wound you right up and set you off at a ballistic pace.

Take deep breaths and count backwards from 10.......

RE: SUPERFI-APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Again purely for balance, but over the years I have had nothing but good service from my two local Superfi shops. That also includes returning an item that was not faulty, but just something I didn't like after about a week ( an Onkyo TX-8050 BTW)  and they refunded me in full. They did not have to, I'd bought it over the counter, but they did anyway.

RE: SUPERFI-APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've had no problem with Superfi Manchester, bought a few things from them including a fully working STR-DA2400ES, which I love...

Always had great service. Bought an 'out of the box' subwoofer once and it had a few issues, but worked fine, so they simply refunded and gave me it. Jolly nice I thought. Smile

Try not to be so angry.

RE: SUPERFI-APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

My two experiences of Superfi have been pretty good, thanks.

First off bought a pair of AKG headphones. One of the ear-cups (if thats what you call them) wasn't sealed correctly, so rang them up and they sent a pre-paid returns envelope. Within a week of the original order I had a nice new pair

Secondly, purchased an amp + speakers, stands and cables (GBP600 ish total). The amp was a reduced, open box item - unfortunately they called the following day to advise it couldnt be located, so they offered to replace with a different amp. This wasn't acceptable for me so requested a refund and this was authorised straight away. Ten mins later they called me back and offered me the original amp, brand new, at no extra cost. To be fair, it must have helped that there was more than one item in the order

I must admit that during the conversations with them ('twas mail-order) I remained calm and professional at all times - they are human too

In with anger, out with love Smile

RE: SUPERFI-APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hi, just stumbled across this thread after posting a positive review on another website. My local Superfi shop is the Leeds Branch and I have nothing but praise for them. I'be bought quite a few items from them and their service has always been excellent. Yes, I've had a few minor issues with a couple of items that I've purchased from them, but they have always been resolved quickly and efficiently.

Can't comment about the website, or online ordering as I've not needed to use it. If I do see something on their website that I like and it's not available in the store, then it's quickly sent to the Leeds Store. Can't argue with that !

Hope this is of some help !

Smile

Can you imagine the MD of a large PLC instructing staff not to give out their name, or refusing to engage with customer's complaints ?! The principal is the same.

As you were not party to the conversations I had with them, you are hardly in a position to judge. However, I can asssure you that the retailers of the Pansonic VT50B and Pioneer LX55 that I have subequently bought are more than happy to have had my custom.

Well, it was cheaper than Superfi's price, and the service was in a different league. Sorry that you can only afford the poverty spec Panny

Ah, me old mate Sound10, aka "Anon", aka "AVEnthusiast" (I particularly admire the originality of that one). So, while you busy extolling the virtues of Superfi on the "other" site, which was totally genuine and unbiased of course, why did you fail to mention that you have a history of advertising Superfi's services on this very site ? WhatHIFI June 2010: "Hi everyone, just to let you know, that all B & W items are on sale instore at Superfi. I have just bought the B & W 685's from Superfi Leeds for £ 329.95. Great speakers imho. " - Sound10

Oh dear. How very.........obvious. :shame:
