that dac looks very familiar!
I'm a little surprised Mr E hasn't been in here with his big stick, those pictures are wider than my screen!
but you are only on a laptop
Hello all once again, finally sorted out my Monitor Audio Platinum sub..... its truely an incredible beast in soo soo many ways and boy oh boy this is quality. As i read somewhere this is the sub that
professional installers recommend and heck i can see why it just picks
up sooo much its incredible. Even the box is a masterpiece... seriously. Also while I was at Rick's I came across these monsters ATC SCM100ASL Professional Speakers. Not too many people would have these in so i thought i'd share.
I asked Rick if I could take some pics for all to see and try and get some good comparisons in at the same time. I heard them and they are truely mind numbing. Sooo powerful yet deliver that power with so much ease. So deep and refined just effortless you really have to hear them to get a full understanding of what i'm trying to say. Enjoy
And finally...... the beast itself...

A list of ATC clients.
I first got in touch with Rick from Musicraft in January through the whf forum.
I was in the market for some new speakers that could handle all genre's of music and weren't afraid of seeing a bit of volume.
I knew ATC were for me and posted a few threads on ATC scm19's.
Rick gave me all the info i needed and answered all my questions about ATC's and my future upgrade plans.
Musicraft is the perfect hifi shop where you can go in as a complete novice, or as an enthusiast and be treated in the same professional manner, no matter what your budget is.
And if your lucky enough to have have a big bank balance, they have some seriously tasty stuff in there like Chords QBD76 DAC and those amazing ATC scm100asl pro loudspeakers
So the backdoor advertsing clearly works, then...
It was a personal choice when i was offered good sound advice.
There are too many retailers out there giving bad advice, only interested in dollar bills.
That is a problem when you use US retailers...
Just place an order for a Chord QBD76 in brilliant silver with Musicraft. The obvious reason for choosing this dac was greatly because looking at the way computer audio is taking shape I foresee this investment(QBD76) as future proof.I am thus covered for cd playback and streaming on my PC.
Congratulations Ben. Im so jealous.
I want to see some blinding pic's when the beauty arrives
Another pleasant day at Musicraft in Deby where i went to collect my Chord dac .When i got in there was hardly any room to move about as customer orders had arrived and the shop was full of boxes.
Rick apologised to me about the situation as i was more keen to lay my hands on 'baby'(QBD76) in brilliant silver. At that same time Rick was assembling the new Chordette range comprising the Chordette gem,The chord Peach dac and the Chord Scamp. He had also taken delivery of the Monitor audio BX2 which was hooked up with the Chord gear.Pictures below :
Looked really cool in flesh and very simple to put together. As that was happening Rick had customers popping in and still managed to attend to all of his clients.
At no point did i feel left out as Rick managed to apportion his time for everyone in the shop.
Kudos to Rick for excellent customer service and satisfaction;i really don't know how you do it.

Starting to think a certain other retailer may have had a point the other day..With regard to fairness!
isnt there also a frankharveyhifi thread ?
If there's a Musicraft one you can be sure there's a FHHF one, and vice versa. It's how it works...
