benharlley:Chord electronics state of the art Multichannel ... processor.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave previously...

all you need is your blu ray player  to do the HD crunching!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which is completely missing the point. If I've bought a "state of the art" AV processor then I damn well expect it to do the processing!

If it doesn't handle HD audio, how can it possibly be described as "state of the art"?

brolly727:Geez its why does it have to have something connected??

Because I'd assumed you'd had a demo of it.

As for the shot the pic was taken on my fone and I had just hacked it so the settings weren't correct.

Ah ok.

Frank, somewhat ironic given your strong - but worded ambiguously so it can be construed as a 'jokey' - message. Or is it Harvey Two-Face? [a joke, geddit?].

Re: Musicraft in Derby

Hi all

Rik is great guy and Musicraft rocks man..... they are the best specialist hifi shop in this universe, has great equipment with all the best prices.... Rik is knowledgeable has many years in the hifi world. Musicraft is well recommended and I would state if anyone needs any new equipment come to Derby and meet up with Rik.

I recently purchased the Yamaha Bluray player BDS1900 and have purchased many other products from Musicraft such as ATC speakers, cables and interconnects. In addition I have not come across any other dealer who is extremely knowledgeable where ATC is concerned.

Excellent Stuff

Thanks Rik for sorting things out, well done dude

Cheers mate

Re: Musicraft in Derby

Hello all,

I just popped into see Rick the other day to order Monitor Audio PLW15 (woo can't wait for that)... I saw he had the Chord stuff in and asked him to take the processor out of the window and put it in a stack so I could share it with fellow forum members. Without waiting any longer may i present the ULTIMATE AV STACK

Chord's SPM3005 at the bottom

Chords infamous Media Engine in the middle

Chords processor at the top.

I hope it sounds better than the rubbish that was playing at the Bristol Show, that was a DAC granted but even so, worst sound in the entire building.

I don't know what you heard but this was playing through a 3 grand set of speakers that sounded like the old plastic AIWA midi system my sister had in the 80s, it was dreadful.

(Come on Rick, bite, BITE!)

Re: Musicraft in Derby

Once again top class customer service from Musicraft after i decided to place an order for a 3 shelf hifi-racks podium tier.

With the help of Rick i managed to choose the right size and leg separation for my  new rack which my equipments will be sitting on.

All i need to do now is wait for 4-6 weeks maximum for it to be built to order;am still drooling on the looks  of the Chord choral rack system.Very expensive though but maybe one day i can afford some chord gear.

Hi all,

Hope your doing well Ben, i heard you liked the black chord gear but absolutely love the silver finish well...... I've had the pleasure of seeing both thought id share it with you and the other members  Big Smile

The Chord in Red with the brilliant silver finish soooooo shiny its mesmerizing.

So shiny you can see the Monitor Audio Platinum Subwoofer box,,,,,,, MY subwoofer box may I add  Stick out tongue

The red is nice different to the blue suits the brilliant silver quite nicely i think.

A close up of the tier. Shows Chord with the aluminium brush finish which is very nice along with the blue lights. Also for those of you eagle eyed viewers that is a monitor audio Radius series speaker shining on the Chord if that sheds any light on just how shiny this thing is Stick out tongue
