RE: Music To Your Ears

If you get The Mirror (which is unlikely of course) then look out for me in their Christmas Gift Guide.

2.7m readership...for a good negotiated fee, will hopefully bring in some visits to the website.

Are you sipping on an amusing house red in a pastel coloured golf shirt?

Pretty much, yes. Albeit the polo shirt is a Diesel so not strictly Gleaneagles.

RE: Music To Your Ears

As quite a few recent posts on here have been about shops closing, it's really nice to see some good news about a new venture ! Really smart looking attractive website too, very modern and clean.

If you start selling spares for Beyers, I've got a couple of pairs (DT250 and DT100) which could do with some replacement ear pads and headbands in the not too distant future, so I shall be checking back.

Best of luck !

Rob, it's against the rules for me to trade on the WHF Forum but I can speak to Beyerdynamic about this to see if I can help out. Get in touch through the site so that I can get back to you, as I really don't want to make posts like this.

Thanks very much for your comments on the site, it's heartening after putting so much work into it to get some positive feedback.

Well done Joel. Hope you're paying Richard Branson to shine your shoes before long....

Quite handy actually. The Wife has remarked about wanting some new in-ears for her Nano, as her old Sony's have seen better days. :?

RE: Music To Your Ears

Hi Joel,

Sorry for the misunderstanding - I meant that I was just going to check your site out first when I needed to replace the headband and pads on my DT250 and 100s to see if you had started selling a wider selection of spares from beyer !! Wasn't expecting you to sort me out via WHF - I live in Kingston so JD and his henchmen aren't that far away !!!

You're saved in my bookmarks so when they finally start to fall apart (my beyer's, not my bookmarks that is), I'll be in touch to see if Music To Your Ears are stocking spares for them.

Best of luck

Rob

I can get them, checked earlier. I won't be listing them on the site as I would be there for ever and a day!!! Ha ha.

Hi Chris, long time no speak Sir. You well?

Not too bad Joel. Working longer hours as a 'Kelly Communications' contractor for Openreach, so don't get on here as much as before. Everything else is pretty much as it has been for years.

So when did you decide to start your own on-line store?

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm regularly doing 12-14 hour days on this to get it moving. Started putting it together in January and worked about 2 days a week just to keep the bailiffs at bay whilst putting it together. Been launched about a month now. It's been hard work, harder than I imagined but seeing things progress now.

Still got the Arcs then?

Yep, they're not going anywhere. Fully intend to replace the 602s in the near future, made even more urgent by The Wife's friend's kids pushing the tweeters in a month or so ago. |(  They have popped back out but you can still see the crease lines on them.

This'll have to wait though as my PV1 is currently back with B&W being repaired.

My boy did that to mine and I used a hoover and over time they are as new again now.

I guess that's the problem with metal dome tweeters, even when they pop back out as if nothing has happened, there's still the tell tale signs that they've been pushed in.

Just glad I'm too poor to afford B&W Diamond tweeters..... Sure they'd be beyond the help of hoovers and sticky tape. :O

What I should have said is that my boy did that to mine and since I hoovered him up he hasn't done it again.

RE: Is that ok? Don't want to

Well someone has just ordered 13 Mighty Boom Ball speakers.

It's going to be loud in her family this Christmas Day I imagine with 13 different tunes being played simultaneously.

Ouch.
