What can't you do, or think you can't do, on an iPhone?
Just for good measure on my Android - its friday afternoon and I'm meeting friends in a pub.
I activate voice on the phone and say "The Market Porter, Borough Market" and up pops google maps showing the pub and directions on how to get there.
Trying doing that on a Iphone4S with Siri
Oh wait - you cant!
AJ,
You are truly running out of barrels to scrape the bottom of....
Decent pub, though

To be fair to him, I think thats the best one he has come up with. I'm disapointed in Apple not supporting Siri fully outside of the US, do we have to wait untill IOS6?
(again with the we...)
Evi works pretty well in the UK and also works on all iPhones, not just the 4S...
(yes, yes, I know, you have to pay a whole 69p for something Apple should be providing to us UK users in Siri for free, but it's worth a look).
My iPhone won't cook Spanish food.
Have you tried changing settings in 'Language'?
What a Paella rubbish! ;)
You wouldn't let it lie, would you?
he had to rioja the boat.
I'm trying to work black ravioli into this line but can't quite manage it...
Looks like the HTC One X may receive a hardware or software resolution to the flickering and screen corruption issues that have effected many customers:

I thought Another Joe was scraping the barrel on his first couple of threads ( Hence the reason for my narrow mindness ) But i do see in some other threads Another Joe has some good points until it comes to the iPhone threads.
Out of curiosity, can the iphone 4S open the videos on the what hifi website?
If it can is it achieved through a seperate application or does it open embeded in the web page?

Not at the moment - as Mr C indicates in this thread, it's a bug which is being looked into.

When fixed, it will play embedded within the web page.
But in the meantime, I think they work on WHF's youtube channel...
Thanks Prof / John
So what technology is it using? Presumably not flash.
One more thing. Which I only realised today. "Buy stuff from within apps".
I have a Kindle. I buy stuff from the Kindle store. Occaisionally I do that from my phone if I'm out and about and fancy a read.
With an Android device I simply fire up Kindle and buy a book or magazine. Apparently that's blocked in the Apple version.
And I hear that now dropbox is being blocked to a certain extent because you can buy extra storage from within the app.

That really sucks.
Apparently that's blocked in the Apple version.
It's not blocked per se. Used to do it until about six months ago but it was removed because Apple wanted a cut of sales. Now I have to go to Amazon, buy a book and click 'send to the Duncan iPad'.

That's really sucky tho isn't it? If I'm near enough to my computer to do that, then I'm near to my Kindle and would use that. But there have been times when out that I've bought stuff on my phone to pass the time.
