ASUS Transformer switches to Windows 8

One of the big shocks at Computex 2012. Android is losing its best tablet:

I think this may be related to Google cozying up to Acer for the upcoming Google tablet (my brother-in-law, who is an official Google tester, told me this a couple of days ago).
Rumours were of Asus making the tablet for Google:
