Thinking of buying the new sony s tablet which has an ir receiver to control av equiment. My equipent will be placed in a closed rack. What would i need to be able to use the tablet as a remote in this way?

You might want to check if it's got an IR sender first.

Yeah i have heard of these. Dont know how good they are though. And yes as far as i am aware the sony s tablet does have one.

google 'ir repeater', that should do the trick. Never used them tho, so couldnt tell you what a good one was.
