Play TV Recording problems

Hi does anyone use Play TV on their PS3?

I have recently come across a problem in which after each recording I make the Playstation Will not switch off automatically and "freezes" the controller won't work and neither will the on off button.

The only way I can use the Playstation again is by pulling the power cord out. When I switch the Playstation on again it does a HDD check which comes back okay and will work fine until I make another recording.

Anyone had this problem?
