Seasons greetings folks,

Downloaded c-cleaner,on the download page it suggested to download a pc tune-up which i have done and it showed 178 registry errors,is it worth buying the''speedupmypc'',or is there a better/cheaper way?

Ditch Pc tune up right away, it's likely to be malware. Remove it, scan for viruses, run CCleaner a couple of times to make sure that it's gone.

There is no need to buy any of that sort of thing, with very good freeware being readily available.

Some programs to try are....

AVG Antivirus

CCleaner

Spybot S & D

Adaware

Another good freebie is Malwarebytes.

RE: registry errors

+1 to that. I use these programs (with Norton Internet Security) and have never had a problem.
