iTunes 11 Anyone had a play with it yet

Looks good so far, but have only had a quick play.  Just wish they would stop changing the icon. 

It appears a huge amount faster and is visually prettier and less cluttered.  This does mean a few features are harder to find and I'm disappointed that the 'DJ' function has gone (you can make a work around but its not quite as easy).

Apart from the missing DJ bit it all looks good.  The real test will be to see if the music randomly stops as per previous iTunes.  If they've solved that then I will be really happy.

Looks dull/grim - and I want Cover Flow back!

Preferred it when all the gubbins was down the side - scrolling is less hassle than drop-downs

And I want Cover Flow back! 

AND I want Cover Flow back.  AND, AND my wife wants Cover Flow back.

The up next feature is fantastic!  You can skip stuff coming up on random before your track ends

Well  6th you can have the side bar back [while in iTunes,click on the View Tab at top of screen,then choose show side bar, Done] Re Cover Flow,I have heard there may be an app later to cater for that.Me I don't really miss it to be honest.

Why the extra faffage of an app for Cover Flow? 

I want Cover Flow back! 

For me, coverflow looked nice but I always found it cumbersome to search through, so I barely used it, so I'm not missing it.  

Thanks for the tip on the sidebar, I was missing that.  I see the colours are back!

I dont miss coverflow but I do miss Gridview when viewing by Artist.

I also miss not having the option of track-art at the bottom of the left sidebar

What is it with deleting features that people have got used to and enjoy? I've never know another company quite like Apple who just randomly deletes features from so-called upgrades, sometimes quite quite high-profile USPs like coverflow.  Every time a new version of a high-profile Mac app comes along, you can guarantee the support forum buckles under the weight of complaints from users bemoaning deleted features that were removed without warning.

I hate it. They have removed album art in List View - Songs which is how I have it setup. Why do they always remove useful features and keep or introduce useless ones.

Can someone please explain  how to download a playlist onto a cd, as I can't find the burn to cd on the list. 

Assuming you've got your Playlist view visible, you want File > Burn Playlist to Disc.
