Apple Devices 'hijacked For Ransom' In Australia

OK, so we all know that Aussies are descended from criminals, but it's nice to see that they have moved with the times.

Will Apple be fined for this security breach?

Aren't Apple just victims, like eBay? (according to you)

Yep, and Spotify. This is my point. No matter how big the company and no matter how great the security, criminals will find a way to break in. They are all victims.

PayPal have already confirmed that there is no account linked to the email address, so the ransom part at least appears to be a hoax.

But you're wrong, plain and simple.

Its how they handle customer data and deal with the breaches that matter. eBay were a victim of their own negligence...

Yep it really is true, Apple users don't need anti-virus or anti-malware. Because as soon as a compromise does occur, you can guarantee that news of it will be all over the internet.  ROFL

Seriously, sounds like an inside job to me!  :O :?
