I'm sitting here listening to my fairly decent headphone set up. I'm struggling to find, even amongst the most vile of tracks a tune I'm not prepared to listen to. Bill Monroe stands out as being unbearable though.

Does anyone have a limit where their system turns from being a bringer of joy to a bolt of evil?

My system has ruined Arcade Fire, Funeral for me. It sounds truly awful which is a shame because I love the album and the band. I only listen to it on my portable now as when I play it through my hi-fi it just grates :-(

Ah, the joys of headphones. You don't essentially need a bible to hear how David can beat Goliath.

The Fun Lovin Criminals version of 'We have all the time in the world'. It sounded great once on an Arcam CD/Denon amp set up, but on everything else it has always sounded flat. Shame, as it has powerful memories as the first dance at our wedding.
