Changing Faces, the best of 10cc & Godley and Creme, bought in November 1987.  Tandy's were demo'ing it through a Realistic CD/amp/speaker combo they were selling for £499, and I decided I was going to buy it as my first CD. It's on its third inner tray and its second hinged front.

I bought my first CDs at the same time. A music shop was closing and i did not have a CDP at the time but I bought 10 CDs

One was Pure by the Primitives ripped and listened to often. Another was Boys and Girls By Roxy music. it is unplayable and unrippable but is scratch free.

I bought about half a dozen back in 1984 at the same time with an Akai CD-A7 Player costing £449.95 & remarkably, it is still working.

The Jazz Singer, Now Thats What I call music 4, The Cars, Lionel Richie Cant Slow Down & a Billy Joel Album which the ex wife had.

I bought two at the same time from Woolworths in Eltham High St.

Metallica's 'Ride The Lightning' & 'Master Of Puppets'. Unsure of the exact date, but it would have been after 'M.O.P' was released in '86, and before '....And Justice For All' in '88..... So I'll go with '87.rockin out

About 92-93 time (I think).  And had the Metallica ones like BigChris but about the same time as this one.
