Your next gig?
As we enter the season when bands go on tour to plug the new album, greatest hits box set, DVD or TV reality show debut, who are you interested in seeing live?
Richard Melville:who are you interested in seeing live?
OK folks, list away - anyone not mentioned Mr Melville will arrange to have bumped off.
Within the next three weeks I'm going to see Seasick Steve, Built to Spill and Don Caballero. And if I don't lose my job tomorrow (which is possible) I plan to go and see A Place to Bury Strangers and the Nightmare Before Christmas ATP festival in Minehead in December, which is curated by the Melvins and Mike Patton.
I'm off to Hammersmith on 22nd November to see Opeth.
I really want to see Lamb of God on 14th Feb, but it's my Wife's cousin's wedding! Gonna see if we can get out of it!
Might get Metallica tickets for the Dome on 2nd March, but only saw them last month, so not too bothered about seeing them.
Of course. If I read it literally. My next gig hasn't been planned yet, but we're doing an album launch party soon, probably at the 'Fat Surfer', Grays, Essex one Friday night.
Nick Cave at the Brighton Centre on November 23rd. I don't get out much these days, y'see...
At the moment it`s looking like Mostly Autumn next February in Shepherds Bush. Yeah I know, that`s quite a way off.
Mind you I should be going to see two musicals within a week in November. `Me and My Girl` and `Jekyll and Hyde`.
Saw the Kaiser Chiefs last Sunday, very good live.
Have got Hot Chip, One Night Only, Coldplay, Pendulum and The Prodigy in the next couple of months. Good times!
Got The Courteeners ,Cajun Dance Party, and hopefully The Maccabees ( if they do tour).
I might be seeing Metallica on March 28th at the O2 (I'm glad they arranged a date that wasn't a Monday...). Gotta have a discussion about it with my fellow concert goers about it tomorrow.
AC/DC next April. I managed to get standing tickets for the extra date they added at the O2. It will be eighteen years since I saw them last.
Cheers,
I want a proper Floyd concert; sadly, I doubt it will happen!

Cheers,
Last time I saw them was the For Those About to Rock tour, must have been around 82, in Dublin. Haven't got tickets for the latest tour though - enjoy. The new cd is very good indeed.

Floyd in Wembley Stadium in 88 was fantastic, it was the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour - you'd have loved it. The sun was setting behind the stage as they started with Shine on You Crazy Diamond, it just got better from there.
I saw roger waters in earls court last year.Best gig ever.Next gig is kings of leon in the recently done up point depot here in dublin.Acoustics are now suppose to be state of the art, can't wait.
Drummerdave:The new cd is very good indeed.
Glad to hear that, I've been ill for the last week, so I'm hoping to pick it up later today.
Cheers,

It was going to be My Morning Jacket, in Manchester, but main man Jim James fell off stage in America and the whole European tour is cancelled.
