Coverage is starting imminently.
I anticipate a good half-hour of hyperbolic commentary ("The most shocking day in Wimbledon's history"), interspersed by montage sequences of players hobbling and falling over to the Casualty theme tune.
Too late, they did that at the start of last night's Today at Wimbledon, Casualty theme and everything...
No signature worth mentioning...
Admittedly the BBC chose a different angle this morning, reverting to the "Andy's gonna win it" narrative. Not that I'm downplaying his chances.

You mean they aren't running with "OMFGLAURASGUNNAWINITASWELL!!!!1!!" yet? Surprising...
Interestingly Djokovic may face two of the very few players who could cause him problems on grass. Haas has a 2-0 record against him on grass (both from 2009) and DelPo has such big ground strokes that he can trouble even a high performing Djokovic. Still make him favourite though, but not reaching the final would be a huge failure from Murray.

That'll be the line if she wins another match.
Blaming the grass is a load of bullarks. Half the injuries were arm, shoulder and back...
If, by chance, the grass is a factor that's got to be down to a lack of grass court tournaments. And don't most player pick-up niggles anyway?

So, thoughts today peeps?
I was (very) impressed by ND yesterday but thought Murray's was the most complete performance of the championship so far. I wouldn't have thought robredo has ever played much better than in the last set and a half yet Murray was still comfortable and absolutely wiped the floor with him in the first half. Impressive serving, always on the front foot, great movement and anticipation. I'm getting excited
Only seen a few mins of highlights of Robson's win but the result itself is great news. A real shame she's on court 2 tomorrow but fingers crossed she makes it into the second week.
Pretty excited and encouraged too, he has got to be in the final now.

Something would have gone very wrong if he didn't. Saw a few minutes of Janowicz and, exciting prospect as he is, Murray always copes well with tall players and I would expect his return game to be a match for the big serve. If he's concentrating (which hasn't been a problem for him at majors for at least three years) then there isn't much there to trouble him til the final.
Only saw brief highlights of Laura's match. Looked pretty convincing. Watched only the tailend of Murray and he looked solid. The signs are good but wouldn't wager anything yet.
Djokitch is loomimg very large.
"Everything has been said before, but since nobody listens we have to keep going back and beginning all over again." André Gide
Watched only the tailend of Murray and he looked solid.
What are you trying to tell us?
(And we still need proof that you ate a cat after the Wimbledon 2012 semi-finals.)

I've still got the take away receipt.
I don't think anyone's suggesting putting money on a Murray championship win. Simply saying at this stage he ought to be making the final. If the final was against ND I wouldn't bet either way. ND is marginally the more complete player and both are incredibly consistent, so their matches on form come down to a few key points or how each copes with particular conditions, such as the wind in the US final. Were both to make the final it will be fascinating, as Murray's game is a few degrees better than last year, as is his mental game after the Olympics and US, I feel. I thought ND looked incredibly focused in his last match, too, and wouldn't like to call it.
